Our Lincoln’s smooth and refined 400 cubic inch V8 provides effortless performance in the Continental with unbridled horsepower and torque and is in excellent condition today and runs superbly with the original three-speed automatic transmission,
It also has Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes, a highway-friendly rear end gear, nice-sounding exhaust system, and rides on whitewall tires and steel factory wheels with chrome wire wheel factory hubcaps.
Interior
The cream leather interior looks luxurious and original, and with that in mind it’s in remarkable condition. It has very plush bucket seats, gold carpets and matching door panels, and headliner, wood on the dash and tilt steering wheel, and all of Lincoln’s trademark square gauges are in good condition.
Options include factory A/C, cruise control, power windows, locks, and seats, and a stereo radio. The back seat is as spacious as many full-sized cars today, and the giant trunk is outfitted with more plush carpeting, full size spare tire, and a spare tire cover.
Instrumentation is housed in individual square recesses, and includes a speedometer, analog clock, fuel level indicator, oil pressure gauge, and coolant temperature gauge.
